Who are we?
We are a driven team of licensed immigration advisers and experts who passionately advocate on behalf of our clients to help them achieve their goals. With 35 years of collective experience, we offer a wide range of services which are tailored to New Zealand employers seeking support and guidance through the immigration process.
What we offer
Accreditation. Having successfully achieved accreditation, an employer then becomes a ‘trusted partner’ of Immigration NZ. This carries certain obligations, but importantly offers a streamlined process for obtaining a work visa for a prospective employee. We assist in making an application to become accredited and take care of all required paperwork and immigration compliance requirements.
Work Visa. Assistance with any work visa options which fall outside of accreditation such as essential skills visa, family stream work visa, specific work visa, etc.
Approval in Principle. We help New Zealand business owners temporarily recruit overseas workers in getting the approval in principle and gain the AIP status. Employers who have AIP status have their employees assessed to have satisfied the labour market test.
Immigration Compliance Advice (Employers). New Zealand employment law applies equally to migrants and New Zealand citizens and residents. We ensure that employers always remain compliant by providing accurate and reliable advice.
Addressing Sustainability Issues. Employment must meet conditions that ensure that migrants are in continuing employment when visa is approved. This ensures that they are well positioned to meet New Zealand’s needs and opportunities and more quickly achieve positive settlement outcomes.
ANZSCO Guidance. We provide New Zealand employers with the comprehensive guidance and support on occupations classification and skill levels (1-5). We ensure that each applicant understands the conditions that surround each skill level and occupation.
The main issues that New Zealand businesses face today are:
- Lack of knowledge surrounding the complex immigration process
- The consequences of submitting ineffective applications
- Imminent resource constraints for growing companies
- Industries with skills shortages in New Zealand struggle to employ the best personnel for the role
- Ineffective use of time for business owners and HR personnel trying to single handedly manage the immigration process
We will support you at every step of this journey so you can spend more time doing what you do best – running your business.

“Since partnering with Aims Global in recent months, they have been an integral support to our business for all our visa/immigration related matters. Arunima and the team are knowledgeable, professional, and approachable. The services and support we have received thus far as a business (including two information presentation sessions to our team, on-call support, and individual casework) have been top notch. Thanks so much.”
